Three Democratic Party organizations; the Kendall County Democratic Women, the Democratic Women of DuPage County, and the Plainfield Democrats recently teamed up with the North Central Labor Council to hold a “Giving Back to Our Community” Night.  Recognizing the need of local food pantry’s for food and monetary donations, these organizations held a spaghetti dinner at the IBEW Hall on Sullivan Rd. in Aurora. 

The dinner was attended by many and was very successful.  As a result of its great success, these organizations generously donated all proceeds from the dinner to the Aurora Area Interfaith Food Pantry and the Kendall County Food Pantry.  Chuck Thulin, vice-president of the Aurora Area Interfaith Food Pantry, was on hand to receive the check.  A special thank you goes out to all of the Democratic Party and Union organizations for their hard work and dedication in running this event. The AuroraArea Interfaith Food Pantry will now be able to use the monetary donation to distribute food to individuals and families in need!
