Aurora Area Interfaith Food Pantry

Community Service Opportunities

If you are in need of community service hours, the Aurora Area Interfaith Food Pantry will welcome your help.

The Pantry serves families in need of food assistance who live in Kane, Kendall, DuPage, and Dekalb counties. Volunteers are needed to help to sort, pack, and distribute food.

Volunteer hours are Monday thru Friday, 8 am to 3 pm, and other days and times for special projects.  Your volunteer effort can help us make sure the Pantry can assist all those who come for assistance.

You must attend an Orientation in order to get started. Orientation takes place every Thursday morning at 9am.

Please call ahead to let us know that you will be attending the orientation or for more details.

The Pantry is open for food distribution to anyone in the community in need and is located at 659 S. River St., Aurora.   Hours of distribution are Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 11 am to 2 pm.
