First Annual 2nd 2 None 5k Run (&Walk) About 200 runners/walkers turned out Sunday,
May 23, to race through downtown Aurora and along the river walk, starting at North River Street Park along the beautiful
Fox River. Numerous sponsors and supporters helped support the race financially and with in-kind donations and more
than 100 volunteers helped keep things running throughout the event.
The Aurora Area Interfaith Food Pantry
and Communities In Schools is grateful to all that helped make this a successful event, which will benefit the food programs
of the Pantry and CIS, in particular the Food for Thought Program to feed elementary school students identified as having
inadequate access to food at home on the weekends.
