Dear {lawmaker},

A supporter of the Aurora Area Interfaith Food Pantry, I’m doing my part to help end hunger in Aurora and the United States by (writing/calling/emailing) you today.

As my representative, you have the opportunity to help people who are food insecure by funding (federal/state/Aurora) food insecurity programs.

With the rise of costs such as energy bills, gas and other common items people need to live, wages are not keeping up with the increase and our community is seeing a rise in need of food. On top of this – all it takes for a lot of families is to miss one paycheck (78% of US workers are living paycheck to paycheck) which will force them to make financial decisions that no one should have to make.

I am counting on you to assist our anti-food insecurity programs such as our local food pantries, SNAP/WIC, and other programs!
