New Staff Spotlight: Yoselin Escalona
September 27, 2022We are excited to welcome to our team, Yoselin Escalona, as one of our new Bilingual Community Impact Coordinators! Yoselin has a background of over seven years in Bilingual Administrative work including work with the nonprofit FLAP (Farmworkers and Landscapers Advocacy Project). She will be working with our new Text 4 Food program and with “Project Support” which works with our neighbors to set goals and connect them with the support services they need to achieve those goals. Yoselin is a creative problem solver with a big heart and non-stop energy!
What she is most excited about working at the food pantry is the interactions with our neighbors and being able to provide them with additional resources in our community to help with everyday needs.
When asked what she enjoys most about the Aurora community, Yoselin said “The dedication and commitment to working together as a community to help our neighbors!” In her free time, you will catch Yoselin enjoying time with friends and family!
Welcome to the team, Yoselin, we are excited to have you!
